Architects Organise Symposium on Local Administration
In the run-up to the Turkish local elections in March, the Istanbul branch of the Chamber of Architects is discussing local administration at a symposium.
The
Istanbul branch of the Chamber of Architects is organising a “Local Administration
Symposium” at the Yıldız Technical University campus in Istanbul on 6 and 7
February.
The event will begin at 9.30 am on Friday (6 February) with registrations. Following the opening speech, there will be a panel on “Policies and Implementation” by present Greater Istanbul mayor Kadir Topbaş, as well as former mayors Ali Müfit Gürtuna and Prof. Dr. Nurettin Sözen. The panel will be moderated by Eyüp Muhçu, the chairman of the Istanbul branch of the Turkish Chamber of Architects.
Then Prof. Dr. Ruşen Keleş will present a talk entitled “Local Administration. What is it? What is it not? What should it be?”
