One soldier from Turkey has been killed and three others have been injured during an offensive carried out into Syria’s city of al-Bab as part of Operation Euphrates Shield launched jointly by Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) and Free Syrian Army (FSA).
The wounded soldiers were taken into Kilis State Hospital for treatment. The soldier killed in the operations was sent to Gaziantep Forensic Medicine Institution’s morgue for autopsy.
Operation Euphrates Shield started on August 24, 2016 and that the campaign launched into al-Bab began on December 9, 2016.
The number of soldiers from Turkey killed in the operation has increased to 72. (EKN/TK)
