All Municipality Bureaucrats in Ankara Asked to Resign
Ankara Mayor Mustafa Tuna who has taken Gökçek’s place has asked for resignation of all bureaucrats at the municipality.

In the wake of Melih Gökçek resigning upon President and Justice and Development Party (AKP) Chair Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s demand, Ankara Mayor Mustafa Tuna replacing Gökçek has asked for the resignation of all general directors and bureaucrats at the municipality.
Murat Yılmaz from Hürriyet reported that all high-ranking officers’ resignations were asked through Secretary General Asım Balcı whose letter of resignation was received as well.
