Murat Akan, Ferhat Kentel, Meryem Koray and Fusun Ustel will be attending the symposium that has been organised by the Social Services Club of the university.
Akan and Kentel will speak on "human rights in Turkey in light of the cartoon crisis and the immigrant uprisings in France while Koray and Ustel will be speaking on the concept of Others in Turkey covering the issues of who are regarded as optimum citizens in the country and who not.
Can Candan's "Walls" documentary is also to be screened at the symposium.
