Six prisoners have escaped from Diyarbakır D-type Prison. It has been reported that among the six who have escaped from Diyarbakır D-type Prison, there are also ones who had fled Bingöl M-type Prison by digging a tunnel but got caught afterwards three years earlier
In the headcount yesterday (March 06) it was noticed that six prisoners had been missing in Diyarbakır D-type Prison in Kayapınar district. An investigation has been launched into the escape of the prisoners who had been in prison on charges of “being member of, aiding and abetting the terrorist organization”.
It has been reported that among the six prisoners who have escaped from Diyarbakır D-type Prison, there are also ones who had fled Bingöl M-type Prison by digging a tunnel on September 25, 2013, but got caught afterwards.
A comprehensive operation has been launched in order to catch the prisoners and that security units in neighbouring provinces and districts have been informed on the issue. (HK/DG)
