Three soldiers have lost their lives in the attack launched by Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) members.
Doğan News Agency reported that a crowded group of PKK members attacked Elmalı Base Region with rocket launchers and long-barreled weapons in Turkey’s southeastern district of Uludere in Şırnak province.
Three soldiers one of whom is noncommissioned officers, who were severely injured in the attack, lost their lives in Şırnak State Hospital in which they received treatment.
Reinforcements have been deployed to the area. (NV/TK)
