Explosive set by Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) members in Turkey’s southeastern İdil district of Şırnak province was detonated as armored police vehicle drove by.
Three of the seven police officers taken into the hospital for treatment due to the attack that took place at around 11:30 p.m. last night (January 17) couldn’t be saved.
The clashes erupted upon the attack lasted till morning. (EKN/TK)
