Police detained 3 individuals who assembled outside Cumhuriyet newspaper to protest their release of four pages from Charlie Hebdo’s latest issue.
The first incident took place around 3:30pm local time when an individual carrying a flag writing the Muslim “tawhid”. He was detained by plain cloth policemen.
“You will not attack my religion, prophet. What did you do when millions of people died in Iraq, Afghanistan.
Ten minutes after the incident, 2 individuals wearing Islamic cloaks and staffs also attempted to start a protest outside the building. Police detained them promptly as well. (AS/BM)
