Over 100 people, among whom were also journalists and politicians, were detained in house raids conducted by the police as part of a Diyarbakır-based operation that was launched in nine provinces yesterday (October 9).

The ones who were detained in Batman, Mardin, Adana, İstanbul and in other provinces were taken to the Diyarbakır Security Directorate.
The following people, who were detained as part of the operation, have been released after giving their testimonies: Neslihan Karacadağ, Leyla Tekdağ, Engin Karabayiğit, Şehmus Karayıl, Muazzez Canpolat, Nalan Özaydın, Veysel Özekti, Fuat Özdemir, Habibe Ekinci, Halise Yavuz, Pınar Sıraç Kalkan, Ruken Koyun, Ayşe Koyun, Necla Tanrış, Naci Tanrıkulu, Hanım Biçimli, Ruken Akçan, Lamia Kumral, Emel Özgen and Zehra Özdemir.
