2 Soldiers Lose Lives in Clash in Avaşin Basyan Under Kurdistan Regional Government

A clash has occurred during an operation carried out by the Turkish Armed Forces (TAF) against members of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) in Avaçin Basyan region under the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG).

Two soldiers have lost their lives and another soldier has been severely injured in the clash.

Presidency of General Staff in its statement has reported that the medical condition of the injured soldier was critical. As of 4.40. p.m. the General Staff has not yet shared any information regarding the identity of the soldiers who lost their lives. (EKN/DG)
