Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) members have attacked on Hapuşt Tepe Üs area in Hakkari’s Şemdinli, two soldiers killed in the conflict.
According to the reports in the newspapers, two soldiers have been killed in the conflict that erupted last night (May 2) at around 5:30 p.m. and lasted for about 30 minutes.
The General Staff in statement made on its official website has announced that five PKK members killed in the conflict.
Bodies will be inhumed today
Family of corporal Muttalip Soylu (21) killed in the clash has been informed.
Soylu will be laid to rest following the mid-afternoon prayer in his hometown, Çamardı Central District Karapınar Graveyard in Niğde province after the funeral to be held in Hakkari today.
Killed Private Ayhan Erdoğan’s (25) family residing in Eyüpoğlu village of Bartın province has been informed as well. His body will be inhumed in his hometown today.
28 days were left for both of the soldiers to get their discharge. (AS/TK)
