This morning, anti-terrorism police carried out an operation including raids on several locations suspected to harbor PKK and DHKP-C militants suspected with attending illegal protests and throwing Molotov cocktails.
Journalists Zozan Eser (Özgür Gündem) and Sadiye Eser (Evrensel) were detained during the operations for undisclosed charges.
Police forces also detained two family members of journalists Eser and Zozan, seizing several items including books, letters, CDs, external drives and two laptops.
