Abdullah Cömert, a 22 year old activist who joined Gezi Park resistance protests in the southern city of Hatay, was killed yesterday.
“The autopsy is complete a while ago. The examination demonstrated that Cömert was killed by multiple blows in the front and back sides of the head. No evidence of gun fire has been reported,” CHP Hatay province deputy Hasan Akgöl said yesterday at a television program.
Previously, the governorship of Hatay released a statement, saying that Cömert was killed by a gun fire whose whereabouts and doers are still yet to be known, as he attended Gezi Park resistance protests in Armutlu neighborhood, Hatay province.
Akgöl also said in a statement that Abdullah Cömert was a member of CHP’s youth organization in Hatay.
