In Nusaybin district of Mardin province, one police officer has been killed over a bazooka attack on an armoured police vehicle by PKK (Kurdistan Workers’ Party), two others have been injured in Nusaybin.
According to the report of state-run Anadolu News Agency (AA) a bazooka attack was carried out on an armoured police vehicle in Çağ boulevard in Dicle neighbourhood of Nusaybin by PKK at around 6 a.m. on Sunday (February 29).
The three police officers in the armoured police vehicle hit by the bazooka have been taken to Nusaybin State Hospital. One of the officers could not be rescued despite all efforts. (EA/DG)
