After the workplace murder that left 10 workers dead, the majority of workers at Torun Center construction site left the premisses. Another group of workers, along with their unions, protested the incident.

After women organizations' massive protest on Seda Sayan’s TV program, Schafer Company canceled its sponsorship. Executive Board Member of the company talked to bianet and stated that they don’t ever wish to have a bad reputation due to such TV programs.

Freedom and Solidarity Party (ÖDP) Co-chair Bilge Seçkin Çetinkaya stated that there are less women among the high ranking executives in the society and it is also same for the left-hand organizations.
